Reunited, another happy pet story

"Hurricane Katrina refugee Valerie Bennett, of Slidell, La., presses her face to her dog, Lady, after they were reunited at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005. She and her husband, Lorne, had to leave behind four of their pets when Lorne, a liver transplant patient, had to be evacuated in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, to a liver specialist for supervision."
Blessed be to the Bennett's and Lady!

Sunny, that is so beautiful and at the same time so sad. I was watching Fox News again last night (Melbourne time) and some guys went past a house in a boat and saw a puppy on the roof. They managed to catch it, and take it on the boat with them. Later, the lady on Fox said "Don't email us if you want to adopt that puppy - I wanted to, but the guy that rescued him has already claimed him!" That was great, but made me wonder where the original owners are...if they survived, and if they are mourning the loss of their pet.
God, this is awful. Please do something right for America...

Gina, I have a cyber friend who is going to volunteer at a camp where they are bringing a lot of the stranded pets. She is such a wonderful person for doing this.
