Solomon Islands Tsunami 2

It certainly gave Australians a fright. I was in my car driving to my first client in the morning, when the newsreader announced that Australia's east coast was in danger of being hit by a tsunami generated in the Pacific. My blood ran cold; the Great Barrier Reef along Queensland's coastline is our only defence against the weather coming in from the Pacific Ocean, and if that is destroyed, well we can kiss goodbye to the whole tourist industry up there, as well as the nature and wildlife that is such a large part of Queensland. As it turned out, this time round, Australia was lucky. But God only knows what the future holds, with climate change happening.
