ARTFORJUSTICE.COM

Today's email from Leann;

"Hi friends,

It's done! The website for my new organization - please visit :

www.artforjustice.com

"Raising funds and awareness for victims of violent crime and missing persons cases through art related events and endeavours."

At Art For Justice you will see how it got started and where it's going and what we hope to accomplish. Not just raising money but AWARENESS!!

I hope to be working with soon with Beth (Holloway) Twitty and Anita Grinstead, mother and sister of two very high profile missing persons cases. One from Aruba, (Natalee from Alabama) and Tara Grinstead from Ocilla, GA. There are tons of missing women in GA. About 6 very high profile right now. ...that's just the beginning, here in the Atl.

So far we have raised over $1k since Thanksgiving to benefit Carole Sund Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation.....these are the people who put up the reward money to find missing children and adults when the families do not have the cash.

Please take a look and consider buying original art from the artists on this website (or at one of our events.) The art work is not up yet, its coming....next week I hope, but you'll get the idea. I will have artists from all over the country soon so check back often. If you like the style but not the exact pieces, I will find you the perfect piece, trust me!

You can help with Art For Justice :
if you are an artist and would like to be a part of it.
or interested in buying art, donating, helping at an event, PR, etc.
you company or business needs a good cause to donate to.
you are an art teacher interested in educating your student with the Keep Hope Alive -Create To Heal fund.
please call me or email at leannzafuto@gmail.com or artforjustice@yahoo.com . And of course, tax deductible monetary donations are very welcome.

Think you or someone you love will never be affected by a violent crime or go missing? Think again, the statistics are alarming and knows no boundary of race, wealth, status, or where you live. So....please help us. Its my mission, maybe you can also help make a difference.

Get involved. Buy ART! and be aware.

Much thanks to :
Michelle at Watercolors by Design for the website
Leyla Compani at Mama Creative Graphic Design
and the Law Office of Shawn Winterich - legal stuff
for making this happen. Find their link on the site, support them too.

Sincere thanks!

My letter to Santa

Santa Claus
North Pole, Earth

Dear Santa,

I have been a good girl.
It really wasn't my fault what happened at Mike's Office party. It was Chris who spiked the punch with too much milk. I can't help it if I drank 6 glasses. It was so good---smelled and tasted just like fruit.
I thought it was funny when I put Mike's shirt on my head and danced the chacha on the chair while singing `Ojos Asi'. I didn't mean to break Mike's dvd player and don't know why Mike would accuse me of arson.
I don't remember calling Jim's wife a hairy goat---even though she looked like one with blue eye shadow and green lipstick!
And when I threw up on Dee's husband's foot, it was only because I ate too much of that pasta.
After all that fun, I admit I was a little tired. So I fell asleep on my way home and drove my truck through my neighbor's roof. I don't think that was any reason for my neighbor to call me a cold pig and have me arrested for theft!
So, Santa...here I sit in my jail cell on Christmas Eve, all lousy and hot. And I'm really not to blame for any of this spooky stuff. Please bring me what I want the most---bail money!

Sincerely and merrily yours,
Sunny (Really a nice girl!)

P.S. It's only 6 bucks!

OMG

OMG trolls trolls everywhere! Will someone please make the insanity stop! Why is it that Nancy Grace fans have to deal with stupid uninformed people? Why can't we be left in peace? I will always support Nancy because I know the truth.

Ugh

I'm so tired of this damn cold weather. I want to go somewhere warm so bad. The sun doesn't even warm up the air. At night, it's too cold to snow. There is a winter storm advisory tomorrow and sissy has a choir concert. Ugh! Since the roommie will stay here with the baby, me, sissy, and her dad will have to take a bus and walk. Ugh! I don't like the cold.

If you have MySpace

check out this group, this woman is awesome!

Bright blessings

Merry meet!
I haven't been on here as much as I would have liked to be. My wee one has been very ill as of late. I've also been working on finishing my schoolwork so I may be done for the quarter. I want to wish all of my readers a happy holiday season. As most of you know I do not recognize the Christian Christmas, I recognize Yule. Though I do have much respect for Christmas, I personally don't celebrate, I do it for my children. I have joy in my heart as I watch them enjoy this wonderful holiday season. I am looking forward to spending time with my girls as I watch them open their presents and look at their faces light up with enthusiasm. It will not be a huge holiday celebration this year as money is tight so I hope I can make it as great as possible for them. My big girl has a holiday choir concert this week. She's on her way to being like I was with my singing. She has also expressed interest in drama. The wee one just loves music so much. She heard the music awards show tonight ans just danced and clapped and cheered, it was so fun. I'm hoping in the near future as she develops more that I can get her into piano lessons as this is what she seems to enjoy most. The wee one has come along so much since she has started school. I work with her at home as well. She wants to learn as much as possible. Well I will leave you now with good thoughts. Blessed be and good night.
